Description:Single crystal of colorless calcite with no matrix attached. The calcite crystal is hexagonal form, with complex termination composed of scalenohedral and rhombohedral faces. The surfaces have a satin luster caused by subtle microscopic surface texture. Ex. Mort Metersky collection, director of International Calcite Collectors Association
