Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with minor Calcite
Locality:New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent green prehnite crystals and with minor calcite microcrystals that formed over elongated anhydrite crystals resulting in linear pseudomorphs to 35 mm long. The prehnite crystals have distinct crystal faces visible on the surfaces. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011)
