Description: | Large terminated green-black pargasite crystal with no matrix attached. The pargasite crystal is six-sided prismatic form with shallow pyramidal termination. This sample was tested by Hamilton College and conformed the species is Pargasite. Ex. W. B. Thompson collection; ex. Dr. Joseph Springall (1811-1895) of Dexter, Maine |
