Locality:Bisbee, Warren District, Cochise County, Arizona
Description:Elongated cluster of well-formed green malachite pseudomorphs after prismatic azurite crystals to 20 mm with velvety green malachite on one edge. The azurite crystallized first, then altered to malachite, maintaining the shape of the azurite. Ex. W. B. Thompson collection; ex. Dr. Joseph Springall (1811-1895) of Dexter, Maine
