Locality:Green's Farm, 750 m. ESE of Roxbury Falls, Roxbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Double-sided long plate of translucent red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals to 17 mm with prismatic translucent red-brown staurolite crystals to 12 mm in contrasting gray schist. The almandine garnet crystals stand proud of the schist. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1992; locality closed to collecting in 2012
