Locality:Shimersville, Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania
Description:Translucent blue-gray corundum crystal with tapered, barrel-shaped hexagonal form. The surfaces of the corundum crystal have dark metallic ilmenite crystal inclusions to 2 mm and are pitted with earthy remnants of soil in the crevices. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #144; originally acquired ca. 1940, collected ca. 1880
