Locality:St. Andreasberg District, 25 km SE of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony, Germany
Description:Rich specimen of lustrous reddish gray-metallic pyrargyrite crystals to 3 mm intermixed with translucent colorless calcite crystals to 2.5 mm that fluoresce orange under SW UV illumination. The pyrargyrite crystals look beautiful under magnification. Ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #5121; probably collected ca. 1950
