Description: | Plate of translucent white-to-brown calcite crystals with green celadonite inclusions (EDS confirmed) collected from a one-time find during road work on Route 80 to stabilize the rock face. The calcite crystals formed in fractures in the Palisades Sill. From my personal collection, collected ca. 1996 |
