Mineral:Calcite with Fluorite and Bitumen surface inclusions
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Lustrous transparent-to-translucent pale-yellow scalenohedral calcite crystals in parallel orientation with fluorite and bitumen inclusions. The terminations on one edge have remnants of translucent white barite where they contacted the cavity wall. Collected ca. 1990
Overall Size:5x5x2 cm
Crystals:15-65 mm
