Mineral:Datolite with minor Calcite and Goethite
Locality:Millington Quarry, State Pit, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Shallow cavity in basalt lined with lustrous transparent pale-green datolite crystals to 6 mm, that have white outer layers on select crystal faces, plus a 7 mm flattened white calcite crystal is near one edge, and scattered brown goethite microcrystals. Collected in 1992. This quarry is now closed and reclaimed.
