Locality:Saalfeld, Thuringia, Germany
Description:Dark crystals of tetrahedrite up to 3 mm on matrix of colorless ankerite crystals up to 2 mm mounted in Perky box. Under magnification the tetrahedrite shows partial overgrowth of a microcrystalline mineral (chalcopyrite?). Ex. R. Bates Collection #215
