Locality:O and G Industries Southbury Quarry, Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous transparent cubic colorless calcite crystals to 7 mm on translucent green prehnite crystals to 3 mm in a shallow cavity in basalt with microcrystals of pyrite and julgoldite-pumpellyite. The calcite crystal fluoresces pink-orange under SW UV. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1989
