Description: | Lustrous translucent red-orange prismatic hexagonal pyromorphite crystals, with flat basal pinacoid terminations, with remnants of brown matrix on the underside. This mine is famous for the orange pyromorphite caused by arsenic impurities. Ex. Bob Hopper Sr. (1939-2011) personal collection, mine owner |
