Mineral:Quartz (Tessin habit) with Ankerite and Muscovite
Locality:Becker Quarry, West Willington, Tolland County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous transparent Tessin-habit quartz crystals (repeatedly alternating termination and prism faces forming stepped, tapered crystals) to 8 mm with translucent brown rhombohedral ankerite crystals to 3 mm and platy muscovite crystals to 2 mm.
