Locality: | Kunkskopf, 1 km north of Wassenach, Eifel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany |
Description: | Slender translucent brown ferro-hornblende crystals to 4 mm with small black-metallic octahedral hematite crystals to 0.3 mm on porous brown volcanic matrix. The ferro-hornblende and hematite crystals are scattered throughout all sides of the specimen. Ex. John Kean collection, acquired from Marshall Sussman ca. 1990 |
