Description: | Two groups of lustrous translucent red twinned cinnabar crystals on brown quartz-rich matrix. The cinnabar crystals are interpenetrant-twinned (two crystals with common C-axes, rotated 180° from each other). Large cinnabar crystals like this are rare. Collected ca. 2010 |
