Locality:Diamond Head, Honolulu County, Oahu, Hawaii
Description:Finely crystallized white calcite coating one face of brown lava. The calcite was deposited in thin fractures running through the volcanic rock by late hydrothermal solutions. The calcite fluoresces white under SW UV illumination.
