Mineral:Fluorite with minor Barite over Quartz
Locality:Blanchard Mine, Hansonburg District, 8.5 km south of Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico
Description:Large plate of transparent greenish-blue cubic fluorite crystals to 12 mm over lustrous white quartz microcrystals with a few bladed white barite crystals to 10 mm. The fluorite crystals have satin luster on the faces and have unusually good transparency Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL392; acquired in 1973 from H. Windisch
