Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals over white microcline. The smoky quartz crystals have etched, well-defined {7181} faces on adjacent corners indicating they are twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
