Locality: | Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey |
Description: | Rich cluster of transparent yellow sphalerite (50% of the specimen) intermixed with purple-to-gray transparent fluorite in translucent white marble from the famous one-time-find of Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization encountered in 1992-3. From my personal collection; collected in 1992 during the FOMS field trip |
