Locality:Black Cap Mountain, east of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Cluster of many parallel doubly-terminated transparent smoky quartz crystals. The smoky quartz crystals have silky surface luster on the prism faces and partially etched termination faces revealing the quartz is twinned following the Dauphiné Law. From my personal collection, collected ca. 1980 by Bill Ross
