Description:Lustrous translucent medium-green fassaite crystals, the iron-deficient variety of augite, to 3 mm with lustrous dark green-black octahedral spinel crystals to 1 mm and platy mica with white calcite that was partially dissolved to expose the crystals Ex. Julius Weber (1914-2003) collection, principle photographer of the Encyclopedia of Minerals (1974)
