Mineral:Gaidonnayite on Quartz var. Smoky Quartz (scepter-shaped crystals)
Locality:Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Québec, Canada
Description:Translucent pale-yellow gaidonnayite crystals in rosettes to 1 mm scattered over lustrous transparent-to-translucent smoky quartz crystals to 36 mm. Several smoky quartz crystals exhibit scepter habit - larger cap crystals on narrower stem crystals.
