Description: | Lustrous translucent pale-pink (nearly colorless) calcite crystals in complex plumose aggregates of parallel crystals on brown matrix. The calcite pink color is due to manganese impurities that also cause orange fluorescence under SW UV illumination. Collected ca. 1950 |
