Mineral:Fluorapatite on Quartz
Locality:Black Mountain, Rumford, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Lustrous transparent purple fluorapatite crystals to 3 mm over colorless transparent quartz crystals to 1 mm. The fluorapatite crystals are doubly terminated hexagonal prisms with flat terminations and show color zoning when viewed down the C-axis. Collected by Marge Holland ca. 1950
