Mineral:Vanadinite pseudomorphs after Wulfenite
Locality:Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona
Description:Lustrous translucent orange-brown vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 14 mm mounted in a Perky box for protection. Thin wulfenite crystals formed first, then were overgrown with vanadinite in flat, platy epimorphs. Collected ca. 1980
