Locality: | Jianshan Mine, Kuruktag Mountains, 300 km southeast of Ürümqi, Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uygur Region, China |
Description: | Lustrous translucent orange bladed wulfenite crystals to 10 mm intermixed with white calcite covering one face of brown matrix. The wulfenite crystals are square bladed form with truncated corners. The calcite was dissolved to expose the wulfenite. Collected ca. 2006.
