Description:Outstanding historical specimen of a very fine single crystal of lustrous stibnite from a classic location, long ago closed. Smithsonian label, and original hand written label included. Collected in 1884 or 1883. Custom brass base. From my personal collection; ex. Wada Society; ex. Stadtmuller (1821-1903) in 1883; ex. Carl Bosch (1874-1940) collection B1016; ex. U.S. National Museum (Smithsonian); traded in 1969 to Doris Biggs for Cornog, Pa. fluorapatite find.
