Locality:Tourmaline Prospect 100 m. west of Biermann Quarry, Bethel, Fairfield County, Connecticut
Description:Uncommonly large doubly-terminated black dravite tourmaline crystal with remnants of silvery muscovite mica on the surfaces. The dravite crystal has shallow pyramidal terminations on both ends. One of my best. From my personal collection #346; collected in August 1993
