Locality:Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico
Description:Lustrous gray-metallic pyrite crystals in white dickite-rich matrix. The unusual gray color is caused by a thin (5-10 µm) layer of chalcocite on the surfaces of the pyrite crystals. A few incomplete pyrite crystals exhibit typical yellow-metallic color. Collected in 2015. This mine is now closed. Analysis of coating performed from Ben Grguric at South Australian Museum.
