Locality:Sundwig, Bohemia, Czech Republic
Description:Lustrous translucent yellow-brown ferruginous quartz (quartz with iron-oxide impurities) included. These quartz crystals are also known as Eisenkiesel which translates to Iron Pebbles. This old locality is in Bohemia straddling Germany-Czech Republic. Ex. Frank W. Hess (1871-1955) collection #81 (noted author, USGS geologist, rare mineral curator at Smithsonian); ex. Ron Bentley (1948-1995)
