Description:Translucent cleavage of pink sunstone variety of microcline caused by microscopic parallel inclusions of hematite that reflect simultaneously (Schiller-effect). The sunstone effect is visible in the dark zones when illuminated from one direction. Ex. Harry W. Eichel, Jr. (1914-1990); ex. Phil-Mont Christian Academy
