Description:Large lustrous transparent Herkimer Diamond crystals, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz from around Herkimer region, with skeletal-growth habit. The Herkimer Diamonds have smoky color caused by sub-microscopic hydrocarbon inclusions. Collected ca. 1995
