Mineral:Uvite Tourmaline
Locality:Bush Farm (formerly the Jones Farm), Richville, St. Lawrence County, New York
Description:Large single crystal of lustrous brown uvite tourmaline with no matrix. The uvite crystal is incomplete on the rear, but shows well developed crystal form on the other faces. The uvite fluoresces yellow under longwave ultraviolet illumination.
