Locality:Frontier Quarry, Lockport, Niagara County, New York
Description:Several spherical groups to 4 mm of lustrous translucent golden-brown sphalerite crystals on colorless dolomite crystals to 1 mm. Sphalerite, a sulfide, is uncommon in the Lockport formation and highly sought by local collectors.
