Description:Cleavage of labradorite, the gem variety of anorthite feldspar, that exhibits bright blue Schiller-effect in many areas when illuminated at the correct angle. The blue Schiller-effect is visible on the front and rear faces of the labradorite. Ex. Harry W. Eichel, Jr. (1914-1990); ex. Phil-Mont Christian Academy. Collected ca. 1915
