Mineral:Pectolite with minor Apophyllite and Pyrite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Fibrous white pectolite crystals to 11 mm with scattered microcrystals of colorless apophyllite and yellow-metallic pyrite on the terminations. The radiating structure of the pectolite crystals is visible on the edges. This quarry is closed forever. Collected by Kurt Hennig. Fluoresces yellow under longwave ultraviolet illumination
