Locality: | Pulsifer Quarry, Mount Apatite, Oxford County, Maine |
Description: | Large single crystal of bi-colored fluorapatite with no matrix attached. The fluorapatite crystal is tabular hexagonal form, and has deep purple outer zone with greenish core zone. Small gray muscovite mica crystals are on the fluorapatite faces. Collected in 1966 by Terry Szenics |
