Locality:Mina la Platosa, Bermejillo, Durango, Mexico
Description:Large selenite crystal, the transparent colorless variety of gypsum, with surfaces partially coated with translucent gray smithsonite crystals to 2 mm and white hydrozincite microcrystals that fluoresce white under LW and SW ultraviolet illumination. Collected ca. 1997
Overall Size:23x5x3.5 cm
Crystals:micro to 230 mm
