| Description: | Heavy mass of metallic native copper (naturally occurring copper) with green malachite surface alteration. Chynoweth was probably related to Benjamin F. Chynoweth (1851-1910) and James. Chynoweth (1846-1922) noted mine managers in Michigan copper mines. Ex. Rev. J. B. Chynoweth ca. 1880 |
