Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Glauberite with Calcite
Locality:Fanwood Quarry (Weldon Quarry), Watchung, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs after glauberite crystals to 13 mm with yellow calcite to 23 mm. The glauberite crystals formed first and were overgrown with prehnite, then the glauberite dissolved. Pseudomorphs after glauberite are uncommon. Collected ca. 1995
