Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Laumontite
Locality:New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Domed formation of translucent green prehnite epimorphs after anhydrite crystals to 20 mm with white laumontite crystals to 5 mm scattered on the surfaces. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved. Collected May 1995
