Description: | Double-sided specimen of translucent pink quartz, variety chalcedony, in spherical formations to 7 mm diameter. On the edges the chalcedony nodules show radial structure. Jones label called this Grape Agate. Wards never revealed the exact locality. Ex. Ed Chicken Jones; probably from the parcel sold in 1940 by Ward's Natural Science Establishment |
