Description:Doubly terminated black hornblende crystal with microscopic prismatic translucent green crystals (actinolite? Tremolite?) on the surfaces. Hornblende is the classic name used for these dark green-black untested amphibole minerals. See IMA nomenclature. Collected ca. 1990
