Mineral:Quartz on Chrysocolla
Locality:Bagdad, Eureka District, Yavapai County, Arizona
Description:Translucent blue chrysocolla, with minor green malachite, in dark matrix. One cavity has transparent gray quartz crystals to 3 mm completely covering the chrysocolla, but the blue color is still visible through the quartz. Collected ca. 1970; originally acquired from Norm Dawson (1909-1999)
