Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Fibrous white pectolite crystals in tapered formations of radiating crystals on greenish basalt. The pectolite crystals exhibit unusual orange fluorescence under longwave ultraviolet illumination, and phosphoresce when illumination is extinguished. Collected October 1994
