Description: | Lustrous transparent blue-gray celestine (celestite) crystals intergrown in a stalactitic formation of translucent white calcite that fluoresces under SW-LW UV illumination. The faces of the celestine crystals are parallel, part of a common crystal. Ex. John Pitfick (?-1969) private collection #695; collected ca. 1950 |
