Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Elongated cavity in green basalt lined with lustrous transparent pale-brown bladed stilbite crystals to 5 mm with lustrous transparent colorless pseudo-cubic calcite crystals to 5 mm and pale green prehnite spheres to 3 mm on quartz crystals to 2 mm. Collected October 1994. The calcite fluoresces under LW and SW ultraviolet illumination.
