Locality:Sayreville Clay Pits, northwest of Kennedy Park, Sayreville, Middlesex County, New Jersey
Description:Part of a translucent amber nodule with the internal banded zones visible inside where a fresh surfaces are exposed. This amber is fossilized tree resin or tree sap and is approximately 92 million years old dating to the Upper Cretaceous period. Collected ca. 1993
