Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystal epimorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 22 mm. The anhydrite blades crystallized first, then were overgrown with quartz crystals. Then the anhydrite dissolved it left thin anhydrite-shaped cavities. Originally acquired from William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018) in 1995 |
